Medicaid Expansion in Illinois: Opportunities to support more children in need of services & implications for school counselors

Recently, Illinois's State Plan Amendment (SPA) was opened and approved to provide services to Medicaid eligible students beyond documentation on an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). As a result, more students will be able to receive medically necessary services in schools and schools will be able to receive reimbursement for providing these services. School counselors are now in the "pool" of student support personnel eligible to provide these services. Attend this webinar to learn the following:
