ISCA R & E Presents: ISCA TALKS JUNETEENTH

It is the Race & Equity Committees intention to support counselors in being mindful, staying engaged and motivated in equity work. 

Our guest speaker Danny L. Thomas is the executive director of The Peace Center, located in Langhorne, PA. The Peace Center has been engaged in equity and social justice work since 1982. Mr. Thomas will share why it's important to understand Juneteenth; yet also not allow that centralized date to decimate the celebrations that many communities of color have been celebrating/observing for decades.
