Grief and Loss: How School Counselors Can Support Students, Families, and Staff During These Unprecedented Times: Join us for our November Webinar with Veronica Kalokhe (social-emotional learning specialist at Chicago Public Schools) and Kirsten Perry (social-emotional learning specialist at Chicago Public Schools, president at ISCA and adjunct instructor at DePaul University).   • Participants will gain an understanding of grief, symptoms, behaviors, and types of loss 

  • Participants will be able to differentiate between normal vs. complicated grief

  • Participants will understand grief reactions by age 

  • Participants will gain increased awareness of cultural sensitivity when addressing grief and loss 

  • Participants will be able to identify tiered supports for grief and loss 

  • Participants will receive resources for supporting students experiencing grief and loss
  • Participants will receive resources for identifying self-care
